Banish Misfortune is the first album I made at my home studio, officially called Sound Of Solar (we have solar panels on the roof!) My period of electronic music production (2005-2017) has contributed to the sound of this album but it’s the acoustic guitars and mandolin that take centre stage. I’ve added effects, synth, bass, mandola and electric and Spanish guitars. Guest vocals are from Karen Turner who appears on a couple of tracks.
